CBRE Launches For Sale The Tricolore Collection Hotel Portfolio, Italy

CBRE Hotels has been instructed on an exclusive basis by BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management Italy SGR p.A., on behalf of one of their managed funds, to dispose of the Tricolore Collection hotel portfolio, comprising three assets located in Milan and Rome.

The internationally branded fixed-income freehold hotels are very well positioned in their markets and are available for sale as a portfolio or on a single asset basis.

Francesco Calia, Head of Hotels Italy, CBRE
The Tricolore Collection is an interesting opportunity for international investors keen on acquiring substantial room stock (over 750 rooms) in the two most important Italian markets. Management of the internationally branded hotels, together with light asset management activities can maximise the value of the portfolio and the investor’s financial profile.

The European real estate market is attracting a broader range of international buyers looking beyond the traditional entry points of London and Paris.“ Hotel investors from Asia typically consider opportunities in gateway cities popular with Asian tourists which they see as fundamental engines of growth.

“The Tricolore Collection hotel portfolio has properties located in both Milan and Rome, which are managed by reputable international brands, and the combined value of the three hotels is in a range which appeals to both individual as well as institutional investors. Ticking all these boxes makes us believe that it will gather significant interest from a large number of international investors including those from the Far East who have recently been very active in the European investment sector.
